What are you trying so hard
to do
to feel
to be
to change…
and it just isn’t working?
Yoda said it best….
"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."
Yoda speaking great truth to the one who does not believe.
Yoda comes from the Hebrew word "Yodea" which means...
the “one who knows”…
Hmm…see how God is in everything even in Star wars!
"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."
Luke isn’t very confident …
Luke: Oh, no! We'll never get it out now!
Yoda: So certain, are you? Always with you, what cannot be done. Hear you nothing that I say?
Luke: Master, moving stones around is one thing, but this is... totally different!
Yoda: No! No different! Only different in your mind. You must unlearn what you have learned.
Luke: All right, I'll give it a try.
Yoda: No! Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.
[Luke tries to use the Force to levitate his X-Wing out of the bog, but fails in his attempt.]
Luke: I can't. It's too big. You want the impossible. I don't... I don't believe it!
Yoda: That is why you fail.
Wow…
It is so black and white…
Do you or don’t you believe.?
You only believe in what you trust.
Do or do not.
Do you trust?
If you believe in yourself, if you trust in yourself you will try…
and try again..
and try harder..
But still end up in the same place.
Do or do not.
Have you tried allowing Jesus to do your try?
For Him to do the possible when all you see is the impossible.
Do or do not.
Just Believe.
Believe not in yourself, but in Him...
because the word try puts all the responsibility on you.
Easy,
simple
yet so hard.
But..as Yoda said,
it is your choice...
Do or do not.
What “Try” do you need to believe Jesus will do for you?
And if you don’t believe…
“you must unlearn what you have learned”
and just "try" asking Jesus, the One Who really knows…
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”
Mark 9:23-24
"Try not. Do or do not. there is no try."

The Lord answered, "If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,' and it would obey you!
Luke 17:6
(Hmm...I think "Luke" finally understood!)
