Would you need Jesus if you were strong?
Would you need Jesus if you did everything perfectly?
Would you need Jesus if everyone loved you?
Would you need Jesus if you didn't have any trials?
Would you need Jesus if_______________...
Fill in the blank with what you really need.
Is it something you wish you didn't have
or is it something you wish you can have?
Either way...
Would you need Jesus if you got everything you ever wanted, whenever you wanted it?
The closer I get to Jesus, the more I need Him.
As the words "I am too dependent" on God came flowing from my mouth, I had to laugh.
Too dependent on God...
Now that is exactly Who I should be too dependent on.
I need Him.
I need Jesus.
SO..
"Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Become too dependent on Jesus!
WHEN I SAY, "I AM A CHRISTIAN"
When I say, "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting, "I’ve been saved!"
I'm whispering, "I get lost!
That's why I chose this way"
When I say, "I am a Christian"
I don't speak with human pride
I'm confessing that I stumble—
Needing God to be my guide
When I say, "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong
I'm professing that I'm weak
And pray for strength to carry on
When I say, "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success
I'm admitting that I've failed
And cannot ever pay the debt
When I say, "I am a Christian"
I don't think I know it all
I submit to my confusion
Asking humbly to be taught
When I say, "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect
My flaws are all too visible
But God believes I'm worth it
When I say, "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartache,
Which is why I seek His name
When I say, "I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge
I have no authority...
I only know I'm loved

But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
