The cross is empty
The tomb is empty
"He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, "saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'" Luke 24:6-8
He has risen
In my heart
As we have been fasting for the last 40 days~
Putting off what weighs us down,
those stubborn pounds
that steal the abundant life that Jesus has come to give,
and by
Putting on more of Jesus
I will never be the same
You will never be the same
Losing more
by
Gaining more of Him
The weight is gone
The weight of sin that was nailed on
His delicate body~
It is finished.
The 40th pound
The heaviest weight
Once and for All
Because
Jesus
came down from His heavenly home
to Be born in a manger
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called
*Wonderful Counselor,*Mighty God, *Everlasting Father,
*Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
To be
laid on a cross
To be
laid in the tomb
To Rise
today
this Easter morning
How many kings would do that?
Only One
The Risen One
And Jesus did it
Once and for All
to
Forgive you
“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10:17
Once and for All
He came to
Set you free
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
Once and for All
He came because He loves you
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.John3:16
Once and for All
He was crucified
Once and for All
He was buried
Once and for All
He Rose from the tomb
Once and for All
So
if He did it
Once and for All...
Have you accepted His forgiveness?
Once and for All
Have you been set free?
Once and for All
Have you accepted His Love?
Once and for All
On this 40th Day
look up to the
One and Only King
who took a walk from the
Cradle to the Cross
so that you can
Rise Above
Whatever weighs you down
because the
wait is over
the time is now.
This is just the beginning
as
we have so much to gain~
but not the weight we lost over these past 40 days.
Let's get ready as we continue our Journey tomorrow
walking with the
One and Only
beyond the 40th Day.
"...we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ
Once For All."
