Freedom
To See
To Hear
To Taste
To Touch
To Smell
Freedom
to use our senses
in whatever way we like~
but is that really
Freedom?
Eve
Saw
a juicy red apple hanging from a forbidden tree
Eve
Heard
the tempter's words giving her permission
Eve
Touched
and picked it from the tree
Eve
Tasted
the forbidden fruit
Eve
Learned
a lesson that day about what freedom is not.
David
Saw
a beautiful woman who wasn't his wife
David
HEARD
her name was Bathsheba and that she was married
David
Touched
something that was not his
David
Tasted
the fruit of a choice gone bad
Learned
a lesson that day about what freedom is not
Saul
Heard
the voice of the One whom he was persecuting
“Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” Acts 9
Saul
Saw
that he couldn't see the moment he was blinded
Saul was
Touched
by the hands of Ananias so that he could see again
Saul
Tasted
Freedom
Saul
learned
a lesson that day about what
freedom is~
the power of
Being
Seen
Being
Heard
Being
by
Jesus
in the midst of when he was acting senseless.
Saul
Learned
to
Trust
and to
Follow
the
One
who reached down and
Touched
his heart
setting him free~
If the Son sets you free
you will be free indeed. John 8:36
transforming him
from
Saul to Paul~
The Paul
who was now
Free
Fearless
Redeemed
Eternally
Enlightened
The Paul who penned the words
Whatever you have
learned
or received
or heard
from me,
or seen in me—
put it into practice.
And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9
Because
He came to his senses
the moment
Jesus
ignited his senses.
In what area of your life do you need Jesus to ignite your senses?
What do you need to learn, to receive to hear, to see differently today
so that
His peace will set you free?
So Let's
Put into Practice
what
Paul Learned
what
Paul Received
what
Paul Heard
what
Paul Saw
because
the
Son
did set him free
the moment
he was
Blinded by the Truth
