Day 13: Freely 13

Day 13 of our

Journey to Independence Day~

13

the number that gets the bum wrap

unlucky 13...

But

13

is not the number you thought it was~

13

stripes on the American flag

each one representing the

13 Colonies

that

declared their independence

on

July 4.

13~

such a small number

yet the power of small

built the foundation for a nation~

a Free nation

under God.

13~

1 colony Plus

1 colony+ 1 colony + 1 colony +

1 colony+ 1 colony + 1 colony +

1 colony+ 1 colony + 1 colony +

1 colony+ 1 colony + 1 colony +

=

13

Oh the power of

the first number in

13

The power of

1

all wrapped up in

3

is where

True Freedom is found

Loved by the Father,

Saved by His Son…

and the

Holy Spirit living in you

who gives you the power to live

Free Indeed

because

of the power of the

One & Only

who

did

set us

Free

Indeed.

Now I know I am pushing this 13 thing a wee bit

but there is another

13..

better yet a double

13:13

found in

I Corinthians 13:13

that puts this all together~

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

Love~

the gift of all gifts

A Love that is

Patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

I Corinthians 13:4-8

Oh the power of

One

that makes

Freedom

a reality~

Love~

All because of

the

One

Who so

Loves us back together

piece by piece

with

His Peace

especially in our unluckiest thirteenish moments.

So

let's

think

13

today

and

make a list of 13 blessings in your life

which will add to so much more,

because remember that

freedom began with just

13 Colonies...

1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + ...

=

50

Free

United

States.

So

if the Son has set you free

you will be free indeed.

John 8:36
