Day 21: Vacation Time

If you haven't seen it,

you have to see it,

the movie

"What About Bob?"

Bob is given advice

from his therapist

to

take a vacation from his problems.

Once Bob has permission

to take a break from his problems

there is a pep in his step

as he ventures out

to enjoy his life

leaving his problems behind.

Hmm...

Do you need to

take a vacation from your problems?

Do you need a prescription in order to do so?

Hmm...

I think you have one~

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." I Peter 5:7

And another one~

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you;

He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” Psalm 55:22

And another one~

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” Matthew 11:28–30

And another one~

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 4-7

Need I say more?

Because

Who are you?

Free from carrying around what God wants to carry.

Therefore,

take a vacation from your problems!

From rags to riches

From burdened to unburdened.
