I don't want to be a
Debbie Downer,
but my heart is quite heavy.
All around me
and probably all around you
are people~
people who you love
people who know the people that you love
that are going through a tough time
and you may be one of those people.
Whether it is
Surgery
or a
Health Issue
or
Cancer
or
Hospice
or
Loneliness
or a
Death
or
____________~
It is all around us
and that makes me feel hopeless
because there is nothing that I can do
to take away the pain and sorrow.
When I say
"I will pray"
I feel so lame at times
because that is all that I can do,
but really
that is the best thing that I can do & that you you can do
Prayer~
talking to
God
about everything~
every emotion
every hurt
every circumstance
every ___________.
A
two-way
conversation,
because
He is
all around us too!
He hears
He responds,
even if we don't hear or see
His answer. He reminds me,
in the midst of everything,
that He is
in the midst of everything
even when the "everything"
includes
pain & suffering~
"...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
*****
"...but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
*****
"...But God will never forget the needy;
the hope of the afflicted will never perish. Psalm 9:18
*****
"...But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
But God~
giving up
His Son~
His Son
feeling more pain and sorrow
that anyone of us will ever feel
so that
He can feel it with us
so that
He can
Provide the comfort
so that
He can
Wipe our tears
so that
we don't have to
and
that makes me feel
less hopeless.
So
humbly I come
in prayer
for all of you & for your loved ones~
who are in pain and sorrow,
as many of you
have also come in prayer
for me,
and oh the power of prayer!
So
let's remember
"But God"
because
these are more than just words
because
He is
all that we need
because
He is
all that we need~
Because
Who am I
Who are you~
"... but God’s child; and since you are his child,
God has made you also an heir. Galatians 4:7
Forever His
Forever Yours
From Rags to Riches.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
