Ann Graham Lotz paints a beautiful word picture
as she poses the question~
Have you taken the lamb off the cross and claimed Him as you own?
Have you gone beyond
just believing
What God says
and
just believing
What Jesus did on the cross
or
are you an innocent bystander who
looks upon the cross
and
looks upon Jesus,
yet never claimed Him as your own?
We see pictures of our
Shepherd
leading His sheep
But
What happens
when the roles are switched~
When
Jesus
became the lamb~
a helpless lamb
Who was sacrificed
yet
Who wants us to take Him
Who wants us to make Him
our own
so that
He becomes our
shepherd~
“I am the good shepherd; I know My sheep and My sheep know me—
just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—
and I lay down my life for the sheep. John 10:14-15
The shepherd
who knows His sheep~
You & I~
from the moment
we
not only believe
but
receive~
So that we
know
Him
and
hear
Him
in order to
Follow Him~
My sheep hear
My voice, and
I know them,
and
they follow Me.
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;
neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me,
is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
I and My Father are one.” John 10:27-30
the shepherd
knows
His sheep's voice
and
the sheep
know
their shepherd's
voice.
Do you know
Do you hear
Do you follow
The One Voice of the
One Shepherd
Who
goes beyond
just counting us
but calls us by our name~
and the sheep hear His voice; and He calls his own sheep by name John 10:3
because we count!
Who Am I
Who Are you~
