The Day After
the
Feasting on
Turkey
Stuffing and Pototoes
Cranberry Sauce and Pie~
But not forgotten
because
there remains the
Leftovers~
"The something that remains unused or unconsumed" (Merriam-Webster)
But
after awhile
the Leftovers of the Leftovers
are forgotten about
and are disposed of.
The
Leftovers~
"The something that remains unused or unconsumed" (Merriam-Webster)
This definition got me thinking about
How do I treat
God
like a
Leftover?
How about when
He says what He says about
Who I am
and then
I don't
Use it
or
Consume it
by making it my own?
Think about it~
What are
His Truths about
Who You Are
that you are not
Using
or
Consuming
by not
Putting into Practice
by not
Living as One who is loved by God?
Using & Consuming~
To
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. Psalm 34:8
Using & Consuming~
How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
I gain understanding from your precepts;
therefore I hate every wrong path. Psalm 119:103–104
Using & Consuming~
He who gives attention to the word will find good,
And blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. Proverbs 16:20
Using & Consuming~
because
God does not treat us a
Leftover
so let's
not live as one
and instead
Live as
Consumer~
Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation.
Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness. I Peter 2:2
Who Am I?
Who Are You?~
Consumed
by the One Who wants to
Consume
All of You~
Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every
Word that comes from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4
