The Judge's Verdict~
Guilty!
The judge is me
as
I put myself in the courtroom
and give myself
my own verdict~
Guilty
Unworthy!
And
then I read the words penned by Paul~
I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed,
I do not even judge myself. I Corinthians 4:3
The same man who said~
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners~
of whom I am the worst. I Timothy 1:15
But doesn't it sound like he is judging himself?
And then I read
the very next sentence
that takes all judgment away~
But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners,
Christ Jesus might display His immense patience as an example for those who would believe in Him and receive eternal life. I Timothy 1:6
Judge not you
Judge not me
because
the Judge
is not me
and
the judge is not you.
It is the One
who throws down the gavel
pushing the nails into the
hands and the feet
of
His One and Only Son
and says
Not Guilty~
His Final Word.
But does that mean we were never guilty?
Oh no,
as Paul continues to tells us~
My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent.
It is the Lord who judges me. I Corinthians 4:4
Never innocent
or
Jesus wouldn't have had to take the judgement,
but
what remains is
having a clear conscience
that the only opinion
that matters is the
one
Judge
who
took away the guilty verdict,
once and for all,
and now that
allows me
and
allows you
to leave the courtroom
and leave the judging to
the One who has
released me
and
has released you
from
living from a position
of
guilt and shame
and
from
putting the verdict
of guilt and shame on anyone else.
Oh what a freeing
Revelation
of
Not guilty
is
when you know
the One who has the final Word.
Now that makes
every moment
a life changing moment
of every day
just because
God said so.
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God,
be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
I Timothy 1:17
*How do you judge yourself?
*How do you allow the opinions of others "judge" you?
*How will you be different, if you lived each moment from a stance of
not guilty, and stopped judging yourself and judging others,
by only listening to the Words of the One & Only Judge?
Happy New Moment!
Revelation #10:
Not Guilty~
