“Forget the former things;
Do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!” Isaiah 43:18
Dwelling on
Fixating on
The Past
inhibits you from facing the future.
Isn’t the future~
the unknowns of tomorrow & the “what ifs”—
that we fear?
The Past
encompasses anything that happens from this second back,
to the day you were born.
But how do we forget something
that we did or someone else did?
To Forget~
To Remember Not
To Keep Regurgitating
To keep picking off the scab of a bruise...
Yet
The Past
is part of you & I,
as it happened.
Dwelling on yesterday
and the day before that
and the day before that
is like going up a down escalator~
it keeps you in the same place.
You & I can't remove your past~
Is there something from the past that is weighing you down?
Is is
~a Wounded heart
~a I wish I didn't do this or that
~a I wish they didn't do this or that.
What do you need to say goodbye to that is following you everywhere
infecting the present
because you just can't let go?
Life is made up of a series of goodbyes—
but the goodbyes are always followed by a hello—
a Hello to a Newness~
because of a
Forgiven Past
A Healed Past~
"Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." Isaiah 43:19
Because
of the
One who came to
"Heal the brokenhearted". Luke 4:18
So
that when
You & I
look back to
The Past
with
Jesus
it doesn't hurt anymore.
Therefore,
let's
lose another pound today
and
Fast
from
The Past
by
placing it into
Jesus' Hands
so you can become
Weightless~
