I just saw the movie
I Can Only Imagine.
If you have ever been wounded
you will relate to the pain of
the little boy
Bart
the teen boy
Bart
the adult
Bart.
The pain of his
Wounded Past
following him into his
Present
wearing the disguise of
Anger
Bitterness
Resentment.
Yes,
he had every right to feel as he did,
because the pain he experienced was
deep and real.
Pain is Pain
&
Hurt is hurt~
but
when it is not dealt with
it breeds
bitterness & resentment
which explodes into
Anger.
Oh how the tears flowed from my eyes as
I watched the movie,
bringing me back
to the days I experienced deep pain,
that created
a wounded spirit.
Un~healed Pain
when left
Un~healed
leaves
a wounded child inside,
searching for relief.
But God,
Yup~
but God
so loves
You & I
that
He
desires for
everyone
to not be
Un~healed
so
Jesus is birthed
to
Heal the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3
Your wounds
&
My wounds~
no matter how big or how small~
He heals them all~
one at a time.
Are you in need of this healing?
Is there a bitter root that is fueled by an anger over a something or a someone
that you just can't let go from the past?
Oh the power of the
Master Physician
when
you invite
Jesus
into your heart
&
He touches
those broken wounded places
Piece by piece with
His Peace~
"If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there;
if you’re kicked in the gut,
He’ll help you catch your breath." (Psalm 34:18 The Message)
Well...
You Can Imagine
what it is like to
Live beyond
Un-Healed
the moment
you
Fast
from the
Pain of the Past
by
Reaching out
&
Touching the One
who will
Touch your heart
so that you can shout~
"I’m alive Even though a part of me has died You take my heart and breathe it back to life I’ll fall into Your arms open wide When the Hurt and the Healer collide"~
