If Only

Tick

Tick

Tick~

I am now three seconds older.

Tick

Tick

Tick~

You are now three seconds older.

Each

Tick

Tick

Tick

is now a part of the past,

never to return again,

unless a

Would Have

Should Have

Could Have

is assigned to each one

and then

I would be & you would be

living in the past

as we are in the present

heading toward the future.

It is so easy to try to change the past~

Oh I Would Have done it

Oh I Should Have done it

Oh I Could Have done it~

But the truth of the matter is

Tick

Tick

Tick~

Here today gone tomorrow.

But,

as the clock keeps reminding me

of the passing time,

I do look back

and think

what if

I

Wouldn't Have

asked

Jesus into my heart?

Then I would look back

wishing that

I Could Have

experienced

"the peace of God, which transcends all understanding" Philippians 4:7

as

I Should Have

if only

I Would Have

&

You Would Have

agreed that

"Jesus is Lord,"

and believe in your heart that

God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

then

Each

Tick

Tick

Tick

would be left in the past

with the

One

who has taken care of

every

Would Have

Could Have

&

Should Have

long before we were born~

"Even before He made the world,

God loved us and

chose us in Christ

to be holy and without fault in His eyes.

God decided in advance to adopt us

into His own family

by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ.

This is what He wanted to do, and

it gave Him great pleasure." Ephesians 1:4-5

So with every

Tick

Tick

Tick

Let's

"praise God for the glorious grace He has poured out on us who belong to His dear Son.

He is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding." Ephesians 1:6-8

all because

In Christ

Would Haves

Could Haves

&

Should Haves

are

a

Tick

Tick

Tick

of the past.
