He Sees

We are in

the

middle of wait

of

waiting

for a phone call

that will tell us

when my precious husband

has to show up

to have eye surgery

today or tomorrow.

Yes,

it is one of those

commercial breaks

in life

that God allows in your life.

You know....

you are just living your life

you have plans

and then everything changes

in a moment.

You didn't ask for it,

but it happens,

and then what~

You have to stop

right where you are

and you can either

stomp your feet and complain

or put one foot in front of the other

and do what you have to do

Willingly & Thankfully

but only because

you look up

and

ask

God

"Why"

and

He says

"Why not".

Tears fill my eyes

as I don't want my husband

to have to go through this,

but he has to.

Having the surgery is one thing,

but the recovery time

when he has to be so still,

because he will have no choice,

is the

commercial break

that

God is allowing.

Forced still time~

no work, no play, no reading, no tv, no anything

just

You, Yourself, and God.

And you know what

that is a beautiful thing

because

if in the stillness

God

is all you have

you know you are in the best hands

as

anxiety would be gone

fear would be gone

because

peace

would be your companion.

Do we know why

God

is allowing this

commercial break?

No,

but

He is

and

as we lean on

Him

through this

Not only will this surgery

make my hubby's eye better

but

his heart will be better

because

in the forced stillness

God is God

and is about to something

Amazingly Dynamic

through this time~

even though it isn't something of

my hubby's choosing~

because

the

One

Who is really is writing our stories

never leaves us the same

as we were

before

the

commercial break.

Real Life. Real Stories. Real God.

"He knows us far better than we know ourselves,

knows our pregnant condition,

and keeps us present before God.

That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives

of love for God is worked into something good. "

Romans 8:28
