Beyond our Eyes

I do not like getting my picture taken.

Let me rephrase that,

I don't looking at the photo that has been taken

because

who I see on the outside

is not who I am on the inside.

I feel like I am twelve years old.

I have been set free.

I am a Daughter of the King,

and then I see my aging face and question,

"Who is that?"

I don't know her.

Have you ever felt like this?

Even when I look at photos from the past,

I don't recognize the girl on the outside.

I wish I could see a picture of the girl on the inside, .

whose heart has been transformed,

whose every wrinkle and flaw is removed.

It really doesn't matter what I see

or what you may see when you look in the mirror

because what matters is

what

He sees.

So let's see ourselves

as

God sees us~

"The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them.

People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” I Samuel 16:7

From Ordinary to Extraordinary~

Beyond what our eyes can see.
