He smiled. I smiled. I said good bye
not knowing if I would see him again.
The call came in the morning~
GOD brought him HOME.
It must be getting crowded in heaven.
We will celebrate Paul's life in a memorial service
when his friend's and family will stop what they are doing
gathering together to remember Paul
while they will be thinking about that one day it will be their turn & my turn to go
HOME~
Our REAL HOME
that we can't touch here.
Our REAL HOME
that we know by faith.
Our REAL HOME
"somewhere over the rainbow way up high"
But HOME is here, right now.
We know it. We see it. We feel it.
Yet we can't stay here.
So, in light of eternity~
What one Resolution would you make and not break?
Would it be ~
"to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of CHRIST" Ephesians 3:18
Would it be to~
"I want to know CHRIST—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in HIS sufferings, becoming like HIM in HIS death..." Philippians 3:10
Would it be to~
"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which GOD has called me heavenward in CHRIST JESUS. Philippians 3:13-14
Would it be to~
"Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37
I know it would be for me
because
HOME is where the heart is
and if
JESUS is in my heart
then I want HIM to
overwhelm me with
HIM because
without
HIM
there is no
HOME
"somewhere over the rainbow way up high"
because
JESUS IS NOT A RESOLUTION~
HE IS OUR HOME.
"May the GOD of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in HIM, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
Listen to WHERE I BELONG~
