Day 28: Painless

Pain is real~whether it is in your body or in your heart.

Pain is real.

I just read an email from a very special woman in my life

who is a pillar of strength

because GOD is her pillar.

She faces her pain with GOD and isn't afraid to admit it.

With tears in my eyes I massage her heart with prayers

for all that she has been through.

Pain is real

whether it is in your body or in your heart.

And I think what if

JESUS

never wore the pain on the cross

for you and for me~

how could we ever move forward beyond our pain?

Think about it. Really think about it.

When JESUS wasn't a thought in my head

I drowned my pain in other things

that just pushed it deeper into my heart~

But then

JESUS became my reality~

The Spirit of the LORD is upon ME, Because HE has anointed ME. To preach the gospel to the poor; HE has sent ME to heal the brokenhearted..." (Luke 4:18) And all HE asks is for us to~

“Come to ME, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28)

Just come and JESUS takes the pain

so that we can continue to press forward beyond it~

"Therefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid].

Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self

is being [progressively] renewed day by day.

For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for

us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond

all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]!

So we look not at the things which are seen,

but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are

temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable." (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

So thank you sweet sweet woman~

thank you for showing me

JESUS

by the way that you lean on HIM

for your everything through the pain.

Because you live the truth

that

JESUS IS MORE THAN A RESOLUTION~

HE IS OUR SAVIOR.
