I want to be like
JESUS~
ALWAYS.
I want to
ALWAYS
Respond
in all circumstances
to all people
Like JESUS did~
"Your attitude should be the same as that of CHRIST JESUS:
Who, being in very nature GOD,
Did not consider equality with GOD something to be grasped,
but made HIMSELF nothing, taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
HE humbled Himself" (Philippians 2:8 )
But I don't~
ALWAYS.
I want to
ALWAYS.
Obey
Like JESUS did~
“Although HE was a SON
HE learned obedience from what HE suffered and,
once made perfect, HE became the source of eternal salvation
for all who obey HIM.” (Hebrews 5:8)
But I don't~
ALWAYS
I want to always
Not Succumb to Temptation
Like JESUS did~
“... but we have one who has been tempted in every way,
just as we are—yet was without sin...” Hebrews 4:15
But I don't~
ALWAYS.
I want to always
Love
Like JESUS did~
"love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:44)
But I don't~
ALWAYS.
I want to
ALWAYS
See
Like JESUS did~
"...For the joy set before HIM.." (Hebrews 12:2).
JESUS never lost sight to where HE was headed~
to HIS real home
where HIS citizenship was.
HIS eyes focused on the unseen, with HIS heart fixed on His purpose~
HIS FATHER'S will.
JESUS was able to walk the talk, because HIS eyes were fixed
beyond the cross~
"For the joy set before HIS .."
for that is GOD'S will for our lives.
To live in the joy.
found in
JESUS.
I want to
ALWAYS
Walk
Like JESUS did.
But I can't & You can't~
ALWAYS
because
We need
JESUS
to
WALK WITH ALWAYS~
"Keep your eyes on JESUS, who both began and finished this race we’re in.
Study how HE did it. Because He never lost sight of where HE was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with GOD—
HE could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever.
And now HE'S there, in the place of honor, right alongside GOD.
When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility HE plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!"
(Hebrews 12:2-3)
