Day 14: Forever Found

ONCE UPON A TIME

there lived a little girl who was knitted together in her mother’s womb...

And then the dot, dot, dots of life that followed her perfect beginning

that had the power to wound the heart of this little girl.

In order for her to deal with these “dots”,

she packed a suitcase filled with the foundational bricks

that she used to build her kingdom~

bricks of

Rejection, Insignificance, & Insecurity.

This is where she hid & where she felt safe.

It became her stronghold.

But then it started to crumble,

as it was not delivering on what it promised.

Lost and alone, who would fix her castle?

She was then found by

THE CARPENTER

who took her bricks

one at a time

&

Exchanged Rejection for ACCEPTANCE,

because of HIS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE~

"For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON,

that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Exchanged Insignificance for SIGNIFICANCE,

Adopting her as HIS Child~

"How great is the love the FATHER has lavished on us, that we should be called children of GOD!

And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us

is that it did not know HIM" (I John 3:1).

Exchanged Insecurity for SECURITY,

to rewrite her story to

LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER~

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of MY hand. MY FATHER, who has given them to ME, is greater than all;

and no one is able to snatch them out of MY FATHER’s hand" (John10:28-29).

HE then took her bricks to build HIS CROSS

where HE would be crucified~

so HE could set her free and heal her broken heart.

HE then got off the CROSS, and when HE did, the bricks crumbled and became a ROCK.

A ROCK that has become my stronghold,

because this is my story.

Lost but found.

Your story too, when GOD is your stronghold.

It is where HE does HIS best work,

as HE takes every brick you give HIM,

exchanging it for more of Who HE is.

The transforming power of The CARPENTER'S SON~

The transforming power of GOD when HE is our stronghold.

"I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;

my GOD is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield

and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold" (Psalm 18:2).

FROM ONCE UPON A TIME to HAPPILY EVER AFTER~

From RAGS to RICHES~

Have you made the

GREAT EXCHANGE?
