Day 1: But God Likes You

HE does.

HE really does.

LIKE YOU.

HE doesn't put on airs.

HE doesn't become someone HE is not.

HE really does like you.

For who creates someone HE doesn't like.

BUT then why doesn't everyone BELIEVE HIM?

Is it because of DOUBT~

BUT why would GOD LIKE ME, when I don't even like myself?

Is it because of FEAR~

BUT if I BELIEVE GOD LIKES ME then does that mean I have to LIKE HIM?

Is it because of SHAME~

BUT how could GOD LIKE ME when I keep running away from HIM?

BUT GOD LIKED HIS first CREATIONS,

Adam & Eve,

even when they DOUBTED HIM and

ate the forbidden fruit.

BUT GOD LIKED Adam & Eve

even when they HID from HIM in FEAR.

BUT GOD LIKED Adam & Eve

even when they covered themselves in fig leaves because of SHAME.

Because GOD watched them do the forbidden.

Because GOD let them do the forbidden.

For why would GOD stop anyone from doing anything

when HE allows anyone to do anything,

because HE GRACES everyone with FREE CHOICE.

BUT GOD doesn't stop LIKING

when the CHOICE of FREE CHOICE

is not the best CHOICE.

BUT GOD goes beyond LIKING

and LOVES~

"This is how much GOD loved the world:

HE gave HIS SON,

HIS one and only SON.

And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed;

by believing in HIM,

anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

GOD didn’t go to all the trouble of sending HIS SON merely

to point an accusing finger,

telling the world how bad it was.

HE came to help, to put the world right again

. Anyone who trusts in HIM

is acquitted..."

BUT GOD so LOVES that HE GRACES everyone

with the same CHOICE~

"anyone who refuses to trust HIM has long since been under the death sentence

without knowing it.

And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe

in the one-of-a-kind SON OF GOD when introduced to HIM" (John 3:16 MSG).

YIKES!

BUT it is all so simple.

GOD does not just LIKE you

HE LOVES you.

Basic Christianity 101~

BUT

"GOD SO LOVED"

(listen to the song below)
