They looked ahead of them and saw the raging sea
that was blocking their path
to get to the other side.
CLOSED DOOR.
Now what?
IMPOSSIBILITY BREEDS DISCOURAGEMENT,
but
DISCOURAGEMENT is not a CLOSED DOOR.
"Then Moses said to the people,
'Do not be afraid!
Take your stand [be firm and confident and undismayed] and see the salvation of the LORD which HE will accomplish for you today;
for those Egyptians whom you have seen today,
you will never see again.
The LORD will fight for you while you [only need to]
keep silent and remain calm” *.
OPEN DOOR!
THE LORD WILL!
Did you catch that?
THE LORD WILL.
Now stop.
Look at your RED SEA that may be breeding
DISCOURAGEMENT,
because IMPOSSIBLE is all you SEE.
But THE LORD WILL!
Can you stand before your RED SEA
and say the words,
THE LORD WILL?
But what if you are so focused on the
RED SEA
and the raging waters,
that
DISCOURAGEMENT is washing all over you,
even though you know that
THE LORD WILL!
Then it isn't DISCOURAGEMENT,
as it is DISBELIEF in
GOD
who does make a WAY when there appears to be
NO WAY!
So what if Moses doesn't show up in your life
to raise his arms
to divide the RED SEA?
Where is your OPEN DOOR?
JESUS!
For HE showed up on your CROSS
with OPEN arms!
For JESUS didn't have to part the RED SEA,
for HE WALKED on WATER~
"JESUS came to them, walking on the sea"**
But what did HIS disciples do?
They freaked out,
just as the Israelites did
when they were standing before the
RED SEA
and saw a
CLOSED DOOR.
I bet GOD was just shaking HIS head
wondering when
WILL THEY BELIEVE ME!
So I ask you.
Do you SEE JESUS walking on your RED SEA as HE speaks to you~
"Take courage, it is I! Do not be afraid!”**
For
"The LORD will fight for you while you [only need to]
keep silent and remain calm” *
Did GOD keep HIS PROMISE
and part the RED SEA?
Was it really JESUS walking on water
when PETER questioned HIM,
BUT JESUS answered
PETER
with
"COME"**.
COME is the OPEN DOOR.
Peter came.
He walked on water
until
he took HIS eyes off of JESUS
and
DISCOURAGEMENT CLOSED THE DOOR.
Peter sunk!
Did JESUS CLOSE THE DOOR?
Did JESUS leave PETER to drown?
Oh no.
For JESUS' DOOR is ALWAYS OPEN.
"Immediately JESUS extended HIS hand and caught him,
saying to him,
'O you of little faith, why did you doubt?' "
**(Matthew 14: 25-31).
Will you CLOSE THE DOOR
of
DISCOURAGEMENT
as you look upon upon your
RED SEA of IMPOSSIBILITY
by walking with your eyes peeled on
JESUS,
THE OPEN DOOR,
who WILL not only
make you WALK above the RED SEA,
because you will be
"DANCING ON THE WAVES"
