Day 12: Rejected No More

I know JOY,
and I know DESPAIR.
I know PEACE
and I know ANXIETY.
I know ACCEPTANCE
and I know REJECTION.
And this is where I have to stop.
REJECTION.
What a hard word,
when it hits your heart.
And when it does you wonder why,
as there appears to be no explanation
but just an opposition against you
that you can't fathom.
I know REJECTION
I don't like REJECTION.
I especially don't like REJECTION
that comes like an arrow,
out of nowhere
with no explanation,
but with a huge
CLOSED SIGN
that tells you are to leave the premises,
when all you did was show up.
Do you know REJECTION?
I am sorry if you do, as it doesn't feel good.
BUT I KNOW ACCEPTANCE
as
THE LORD'S LOVE is an
OPEN DOOR
for the hurting,
for the slandered,
for the lonely,
for the abused,
for the __________.
THE LORD'S LOVE
rights all wrongs in a moment
when HIS LOVE
HEALS your BROKEN HEART
and reminds you that
you are HIS.
ALL HIS.
"FOR THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN JESUS CHRIST" (Romans 8:1).
For JESUS ACCEPTS THE REJECTED
because
HE was REJECTED first.
Oh to have the STRENGTH that JESUS had
to lay down on the cross
with the verdict of
REJECTED,
while
HIS HEART
was
bleeding
ACCEPTANCE
to
ONE AND ALL.
How did JESUS do it?
How was JESUS able to RECEIVE the nails?
"For the joy set before HIM he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God"
(Hebrews 12:2.)
Oh ALL FOR THE JOY,
for you and me and everyone else,
JESUS took the nails of
REJECTION
that
OPENED the DOOR of ACCEPTANCE
for ALL!
So when the nails of REJECTION come in your life,
remember that
JESUS wore them first.
So let's FAST from the weight of REJECTION,
by remembering what JESUS did on the CROSS
because
"YOU ARE SOMEBODY TO GOD"
(listen to the song below)
