Day 13: Grieving Tears

LIFE comes and LIFE goes
on this earth,
just like GOD has told us.
But even though we know the
TRUTH
that our LIFE
has a beginning and an end date,
it is still so very hard when LOSS hits your heart.
To LOSE a LIFE on earth pierces your heart,
leaving a vacant hole.
We just had another LOSS.
A cousin,
who GOD had my hubby and I see a month ago,
JENNIFER,
whose JOYFUL spirit was contagious,
as we met with her and her siblings
who we haven't seen in years.
What a celebration to be together.
As I look back to that day it was
A BLESSED GOD APPOINTMENT.
I still see JENNIFER'S precious face
and cheery heart,
but little did we know that her health was not so cheery.
We experienced her precious siblings
LOVING on her,
like a mother bird holding onto her chick.
They knew her time was short,
and oh how they LOVED on her as if LIFE was FOREVER.
And then we got the unexpected call,
that she is now with THE LORD,
at the young age of 50.
Words can't express the LOSS,
as I think of her son, beginning his senior year in high school,
whose precious mother LOVED him beyond words.
Her two older sisters and brother,
remain here,
to grieve their great LOSS.
LIFE is fragile, oh so fragile.
So why don't we all embrace LIFE as such
and never take advantage of any of our
BREATHING moments,
by taking advantage to
HUG those you LOVE and LOVE who you HUG.
To LET GO of the little petty things that break relationships apart.
To be the first one to FORGIVE.
To LOVE,
as GOD LOVES,
those who are still alive in your LIFE~
"Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude.
Love does not demand its own way.
It is not irritable or touchy.
It does not hold grudges and
will hardly even notice when others do it wrong.
It is never glad about injustice,
but rejoices whenever truth wins out.
If you love someone,
you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost.
You will always believe in him,
always expect the best of him,
and always stand your ground in defending him"
(I Corinthians 13:4-7).
My hubby and I got to experience
this great LOVE
that was poured out on
JENNIFER
that special day
we did LIFE together,
as it will be forever etched on our hearts.
Oh my heart aches for this family,
as my heart is aching and I have only had minimal time with
JENNIFER,
yet it feels as if it was a lifetime.
Maybe because
JENNIFER'S spirit
touched my heart so deeply from the moment I said hello.
So today we will say our
Goodbye for now,
as she has moved beyond this temporary world.
She is out of pain, yet the pain of grief remains.
But GOD will fill the vacant spot
in all the hearts that
JENNIFER'S life has touched,
for JESUS came to
HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED,
as HE knows BROKENNESS first hand
and that is why
BROKENNESS isn't FOREVER.
For one day
"HE will wipe every tear from their eyes.
There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain,
for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:4),
because
"the only
'SCARS IN HEAVEN'
are on the hands that hold you now"
(listen to the song below)
