I have PASSION
that sometimes can be a wee bit too
PASSIONATE,
as when I am on my soapbox
the Italian gets the best of me,
and you better watch out
because my PASSION can be a wee bit too
PASSIONATE
when I am standing up for TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH.
PASSION~
Zeal.
Fervor.
Suffering.
Yes, SUFFERING
is the meaning of the word
PASSION
that defines this week
JESUS was riding into
as HE entered on a donkey.
PASSION~
SUFFERING with GRACE & TRUTH.
Oh THE PASSION of CHRIST.
PASSION WEEK~
the week JESUS walks
PASSIONATELY to the CROSS
doing what no other could ever do
with such
GRACE
&
MERCY
because
of
HIS PASSIONATE LOVE
for ALL.
Oh JESUS had PASSION~
"JESUS began to explain to HIS disciples that
HE must go to Jerusalem
and SUFFER many things..."
But how was JESUS able to be PASSIONATE about SUFFERING~
"....and that HE must be killed and on the third day be raised to life" (Matthew 16:21)
Because
HIS eyes were on you and I and everyone else
who HE PASSIONATELY
loves like no other~
“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down HIS life for the sheep" (John 10:11)
What are you PASSIONATE about?
Would you go to great lengths
even if it means PASSION is a SUFFERING SACRIFICE~
"But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before GOD.
To this you were called, because CHRIST suffered for you,
leaving you an example, that you should follow in HIS steps" (I Peter 2:20)
Are you ready to do what it takes
to continue to
PRESS FORWARD in following JESUS to THE CROSS?
Let's get
PASSIONATE~
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the LORD JESUS, giving thanks to GOD THE FATHER through HIM" (Colossians 3:17)
because
PASSION put JESUS on the CROSS
so that you can
put JESUS on your heart
to experience how
WEIGHTLESS
life becomes when you
are so PASSIONATE about JESUS,
that you becomes all about
HIM.
THE HIM
who bled PASSION
on our CROSS
to give us
"AN EASTER HALLELUJAH"
(listen to the song below)
