Did GOD really say~
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds"*
Oh HE did.
The word that gets me is "WHENEVER",
which means YOU WILL,
as no one is exempt.
Actually WHENEVER isn't such a bad word
as it is all about the words that follow~
"WHENEVER you face trials".*
Now does this make you want to do the happy dance
or does it make you run as fast as you can in
the other direction
as far as you can get away from GOD.
Because who wants a TRIAL.
A TRIAL is A TEST.
Do you want to be TESTED?
A TEST comes with an outcome~
PASS or FAIL.
Sounds like a pop quiz at school
because doesn't
a TRIAL just pop up
when you least expect it.
Do you face the TRAIL wanting to PASS it
or do you run in the other direction
in fear of FAILING?
But if you know GOD,
if you really know GOD,
HE doesn't set us up to fail
because HE doesn't stop after the word
TRIAL.
"...because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance"*
Now doesn't this make you want to exhale.
TRIAL~
A TESTING OF YOUR FAITH
that comes in all shapes and sizes
that is so tailored for you,
because no one can take your TEST
because no one can have FAITH for you.
FAITH is yours.
FAITH is a choice.
Beautiful FAITH that can't be seen but can be
BELIEVED by you~
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1).
What do you HOPE for?
A sunny day. The return of a prodigal. A new job. Lose 10 pounds. A phone call. A ________.
A TESTING of your FAITH.
A TEST in the midst of what you don't have what it takes to PASS it
because it takes you deeper into a relationship with the ONE who is FAITH.
FAITH always wins. FAITH always passes the TEST.
FAITH stretches you beyond yourself.
FAITH breeds PERSEVERANCE,
staying power that wins the race~
"Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything" *(James 1:2-4)
Oh the word WHENEVER never looked so good
because GOD doesn't leave us hanging
because HE always has a greater purpose in mind
WHENEVER we FACE TRIALS of many kinds
because every TRIAL
becomes the place of GRACE
when you FACE the FACE of GOD
in FAITH
because FAITH is GOD.
HE doesn't leave you alone,
but joins you in the journey
so you pass the TEST with flying colors
because
WHENEVER GOD is in the picture
you always win.

Let's FAST from the weight of FAILING today
by FACING every TEST,
WHENEVER it comes
in whatever shape and form~
by facing it with the FACE of GOD
and staying where you are & feeling what you feel
IN FAITH,
so you meet GOD at a deeper level
and pass with flying colors.
Just because GOD isn't about failing.
You always PASS THE TEST
