Weekends~
A BREAK from the daily routine.
A BREAK from structure.
A BREAK from GOD?
Think about it
HAVE YOU EVER TAKEN A BREAK FROM GOD?
I know I have
when I DOUBTED HIM
because of DOORS that were being CLOSED in my life.
WEARINESS sets in,
even though I am still
TRUSTING HIM,
&
BELIEVING HIM
&
WAITING ON HIM.
The WEARINESS
that strives to BREAK me
so that I will take a BREAK from GOD.
But GOD never allows me to
BREAK from HIM
for very long,
because
JESUS continues to call my name~
"Come to ME.
Get away with ME and you’ll recover your life.
I’ll show you how to take a real rest.
Walk with ME and work with ME—watch how I do it.
Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.
I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.
Keep company with ME and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly”
(Matthew 11:28-30).
GOD doesn't take off weekends
&
GOD doesn't go on vacations
because
GOD wants to be with you
or HE wouldn't have created you,
and HE would have never sent
JESUS,
who is
THE OPEN DOOR!
GOD NEVER CLOSES
even when everything else
around you CLOSES.
GOD is always OPEN!.
So on this Sunday morning,
spend some time with
THE ONE
who has a big
OPEN sign on HIS DOOR,
because
HE IS
is so excited to spend it with you,
and
HE will never SHUT THE DOOR
on you
because
HE IS
"THE GOD WHO STAYS"
