Day 23: Fly Free

Do you ever wonder~

"Will I ever be the SAME again"

after something happens that challenges you not to be the

SAME

as you where~

yet you want to stay the

SAME

because that is the only way you know to be?

But is it good to stay the

SAME

when you could be oh so much better?

I wonder if a caterpillar had a choice~

would it choose to stay the

SAME

and keep its gazillion legs instead of having wings to fly?

Why would it want to become DIFFERENT & fly when crawling is all it knows?

Why would you or I choose to stay the

SAME

&

continue to crawl through life being

"anxious about everything"

when we could soar through life

"by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God"

so that we become so DIFFERENT because

"the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,

will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Why would you or I choose to stay the

SAME~

when we could become oh so

DIFFERENT

that

SAME

will never be good enough

because we can be oh so

DIFFERENT

just because we ask~

"Search me, O GOD, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!" (Psalm 139:23-24)

and just because

HE always answers

in a way that

you will never be the

SAME

again~

"And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26).

A caterpillar doesn't have a choice to ask to change or not to change,

as it just does.

Oh how easier it would be for you & I

to jump into a cocoon and let nature take its course

metamorpho~sizing us into a

beautiful butterfly without our doing anything.

But we have a choice

& that isn't to stay

in a cocoon,

but to come out & choose to

to go from crawling to flying

by using the wings that GOD gave us~

"Therefore, if anyone is in CHRIST, the new creation has come:

The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 2:17).

Why crawl when you were born to fly?

"But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31)

Why stay the SAME when you were created to be DIFFERENT?

Are you

"READY TO FLY" (listen to the song below)
