Day 24: Twas The Night Before

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE

the day

that would change the world~

that would change

the hearts

of all

who came

to experience the

NEW BORN SON.

But

HE was not just an ordinary SON~

HE was

The ONE & Only ONE.

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE

the big

BREAKTHROUGH

when

LOVE

Broke Through

the darkness

the hopelessness

the sorrow & grief

in

GOD'S perfect timing.

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE~

when the labor pains began

& then

THE BABY JESUS

was born

so that we can come to

HIM

in our labor.

"Come to ME, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take MY yoke upon you and learn from ME, for I am gentle and lowly in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls.

For MY yoke is easy and MY burden is light"

(Matthew 11:28-30)

So that

HE WILL

give us the greatest gift in the midst of our labor~

HIS Gift of REST

This promise of JESUS, wrapped up in the Gift of CHRISTmas~

THE BABY~

HIS Gift of REST

“JESUS described HIS gift to HIS followers as rest for your soul.

This unmatchable gift ~both powerful and profound ~should be considered the birthright of those

who come to JESUS and are HIS followers.” (Guzik)

HIS Gift of REST

For all who labor~

&

HE means ALL of us,

as we all grow weary and tired.

What BREAKTHROUGH are you "laboring" for?

Are you weary & tired in the wait?

Come to

JESUS

to be swaddled in

HIS Gift of REST

& experience

the biggest

BREAKTHROUGH

of

LOVE

of

HOPE

and of

JOY

that takes away the sting of labor pains

as I wait & as you wait

in our

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE

____________________~

the

BREAKTHROUGH

that

will be birthed at the perfect time that GOD has set for you & I

because

GOD'S timing is always perfect~

"But when the set time had fully come, GOD sent HIS SON, born of a woman, born under the law,

to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship" (Galatians 4:4-5)

Therefore,

COME &

"MAKE ROOM"

in your heart for JESUS
