Let's FAST from the FUTURE!
And all we have to do is to
FAST from WORRY
because WORRY takes you
from the PRESENT into
"YOUR" FUTURE that you have already planned to happen.
Oh the WORRY package that is all wrapped up in
STRESS
ANXIETY
&
FEAR,
as WORRY BELIEVES
that THIS or THAT may happen.
And then if THIS or THAT will happen
then THIS or THAT is something worth WORRYING about.
What if GOD WORRIED about us?
But then HE does.
HE is so WORRIED
that HE did something about it
so that HE no longer had to WORRY.
HE provided
THE PERFECT FUTURE
for all of us.
HIS PLANNED PURPOSEFUL FUTURE
that is offered to everyone
because GOD created everyone.
And all HE asks is
to simply BELIEVE in HIS SON
for our ETERNAL FUTURE.
And when we really grasp this TRUTH,
when we really take it to heart,
then when WORRY tries to infect our PRESENT moments
we can
FIX our eyes on the ONE who has given us
our PERFECT FOREVER FUTURE~
THE JOY OF WHAT IS TO COME BECAUSE WHAT JESUS HAS DONE.
"...Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you,
pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay" (I Peter 1:3-4)
How is WORRY weighing you down?
Is it an illness, a prodigal son or daughter, financial burden, a relationship, or just plain ole life?
Think about this WORRY.
Now close your eyes and see JESUS covering it.
I smile as I can just hear JESUS say~
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world”
(John 16:33)
And then HE looks up at you and sees that you have other things that you are WORRIED about.
And again HE speaks~
“_______, _______*(put your name),
you are worried and upset about many things,
but few things are needed—or indeed only one"*
And what is that ONE THING.
To do what Mary did when JESUS came into the home of Martha of Mary.
"Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her” *(Luke 10:41-42)
She stopped. She sat as HIS feet. She FIXED her eyes on the ONE whose eyes were FIXED on her,
Life stops in the PRESENCE of JESUS.
WORRY is replaced with a stillness that is indescribable
because when JESUS is in the room
there is no room for WORRY.
JESUS overwhelms our PRESENT
as HE is our FUTURE,
where there is nothing to WORRY about.
Therefore,
“Let not your heart, _________, be troubled.
Believe in GOD; believe also in ME" (John 14:1).
