To BE STILL
because GOD IS GOD.
To BE STILL
because YOU ARE STILL MY GOD
no matter what I feel
no matter what I see
no matter what I don't have
TO BE STILL because GOD IS GOD
& because YOU ARE STILL MY GOD~
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your GOD, The HOLY ONE of Israel, your SAVIOR..." (Isaiah 43:1-3)
To BE STILL enough to know that
YOU ARE STILL MY GOD
in all things~
"...Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses,
so that the power of CHRIST may dwell in me.
Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses,
with persecutions, with difficulties, for CHRIST'S sake;
for when I am weak, then I am strong" (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
Oh TO BE STILL & KNOW that GOD IS STILL MY GOD~
"And HE has said to me, “MY grace is sufficient for you,
for power is perfected in weakness”(2 Corinthians 12:8).
Oh GOD you always remind us
when we are STILL enough to hear your soft whisper
that draws us to be in YOUR PRESENCE
as you so gently ask us~
"Finally, brothers and sisters,
whatever is true, whatever is noble,
whatever is right, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—
if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things" (Philippians 4:8)
To Think
To Dwell on
To Grasp
To Focus
To Believe
To BE STILL in YOU
because there YOU ARE!
