I look before me and
I can't see the trees beyond the fog.
I know they are there,
yet I can't see them.
So do I question if they are there
or just believe
and get on with my day
instead of trying to convince myself they are there
and trying to talk the fog away.
Staying stuck because you can't see beyond the fog.
How silly~
yet don't we all do it.
You know THE TRUTH
as THE TRUTH has set you FREE
yet you feel so shackled to your own understanding
that even though you know GOD may be working in the fog
you still try to fathom the depth of the circumstances
that leaves you more in the fog,
instead of
just believing GOD in the moment
that HE is GOD
and what HE says is THE TRUTH
even in the midst of the fog.
So instead of just sitting waiting for the fog to dissipate
you fix your eyes on the ONE who is in the fog
doing things that you can't see~
and before you know it
you see the trees that have always been there.
"LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING" (Proverbs 3)~
because no matter how hard I try
to figure out everything
I will never figure it all out
and
I would also choose to do things oh so different than how
GOD does things.
But if
I continue to do what doesn't feel comfortable in the moment
which is
"LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING"
by TRUSTING GOD when I can't see the trees
I will experience what is beyond my understanding
because HE is beyond my understanding.
Wow.
It is time to be blind`
so blind that it even has a name~
FAITH~
Not striving to see something because you believe that is there without seeing it.
For
FAITH isn't FAITH if my eyes aren't
fixed on what is UNSEEN~
"So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever" (2 Corinthians 4:18)
Oh I am thankful for the fog
as a reminder
that even the fog can't remove the trees
which are beyond what my eyes to see
because
I can only see through the eyes of
FAITH
when
I
& when you
"HOLD ON TO ME" (listen to the song below)
