Who Is This Baby

I asked myself the question

WHO IS THIS BABY?

THIS BABY I am referring to is

JESUS.

This BABY who once was a King,

yet came to earth

swaddled in Rags as a BABY.

A wee little helpless BABY

sent to help little helpless us.

As CHRISTMAS is approaching

and all the Falalalala

is beginning

with the beautiful decorations adorning homes

inside & out

I wonder~

Does everybody SEE HIM?

Does everybody KNOW HIM?

amongst all the Falalalala.

As I didn't want THIS BABY

to get buried amongst the tinsel and bows,

I challenged myself

to answer the question

WHO IS THIS BABY

through a 24 DAY ADVENT devotional series~

that I never did before

&

that I had no idea what I was doing~

but obviously GOD did

because HE woke me up every morning at 4am

and I sat with my computer

and asked GOD the question.

And then it happened.

My fingers moved furiously across the keyboard

as my heart couldn't keep quiet what GOD was speaking to me.

The hard part was posting,

as this recovered perfectionist

had to let go and let go I did.

I pushed send

AS IS

and GOD hasn't stopped waking me up

every morning at 4am

to answer my questions.

And that my friend is how these daily musings were birthed

beyond CHRISTMAS

because JESUS isn't just a day.

December 1-24

as GOD answers the question~

WHO IS THIS BABY?

Oh I can't wait to experience what

HE has for me & for you

because HE is THE GIFT that keeps giving

and all you have to do is

SHOW UP in HIS PRESENCE

because

HE has so much more for you.
